UPDATE: Construction of Lake Ridge Road roundabout in Brock Township continues

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department is constructing a new roundabout on Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23), at the Regional Road 12/Pefferlaw Road intersection.

When: October 8 for approximately four weeks. Unfavourable weather conditions may affect the work schedule.

Where: Lake Ridge Road will be closed north of Regional Road 12, in the Township of Brock and Township of Georgina. Detour signs will be posted. During this closure, the intersection will operate as a three-way stop.

Why: The intersection is being re-constructed into a single-lane roundabout.

Note: The Region realizes that the work is disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
