UPDATE: Night work at the Kingston Road/Westney Road intersection in Ajax postponed until further notice

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents that the nighttime paving scheduled this evening as part of the reconstruction of Kingston Road (Durham Highway 2) and Westney Road (Regional Road 31) in Ajax is postponed until further notice due to inclement weather.

When: The night work paving scheduled for this evening is being postponed until further notice.

Where: The intersection of Kingston Road and Westney Road in the Town of Ajax. 

Why: The work has been postponed due to forecasted overnight rain on Aug. 16.

Note: The Region will notify the public of the rescheduled time for the work as soon as possible.
