Vendors invited to sessions about new eProcurement Tool

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Finance Department would like to remind vendors of upcoming sessions related to the launch of an integrated, online eProcurement Tool—a product that will allow vendors to view, register and submit bids online in one quick, easy and convenient location.

When: An in-person demonstration session will be held on Thursday, March 2, from 6 to 8 p.m

Where: The Regional Municipality of Durham Headquarters, 605 Rossland Road East, Whitby, Room LL-C

Why: To ensure vendors are familiar with the new platform, they are invited to join one of the following sessions.

The new eProcurement Tool is a fully electronic method of issuing and accepting bids. It will be phased in, beginning in March; providing a more efficient process for both vendors and the Region of Durham. Once the service is fully electronic, bidders will no longer be required to drop off bid submissions at Regional Headquarters, send via courier, or attend public bid openings.
