Virtual Behaviour Resource Fair will offer strategies to manage problem behaviour in children
Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is hosting its first Virtual Behaviour Resource Fair to help parents, caregivers and professionals manage problem behaviour in children (ages two to 12 years old). Please note: registration is required to attend.
When: Saturday, June 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Due to COVID-19 physical distancing measures, this event will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams.
Why: This virtual event aims to support parents, caregivers and professionals in managing problem behaviour in children, from two to 12 years of age.
Participants will have access to a variety of pre-recorded topic presentations, including aggression, behaviour basics, non-compliance, reinforcement, temper tantrums, toilet training, and more.
During each presentation, participants will be introduced to basic behaviour strategies that can be used, followed by a brief live question-and-answer period via the chat feature.
The Virtual Behaviour Resource Fair is free to access. However, registration is required as space is limited. Please register on Eventbrite.
