Virtual North Durham Seniors’ Fair and Learning Series

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is partnering with the Township of Brock, Township of Scugog and Township of Uxbridge to host the Virtual North Durham Seniors’ Fair and Virtual North Durham Learning Series. 

When: The Virtual North Durham Seniors’ Fair is Wednesday, June 23 and Thursday, June 24, followed by the Virtual North Durham Learning Series from July 2021 to March 2022.

Where: Due to COVID-19 physical distancing measures, this event will be held virtually at durham.ca/SeniorsFair.

Why: This virtual event and series aims to support older adults and seniors living in north Durham by helping to prevent further social isolation and improving access to community services. However, this event is open to those beyond north Durham who believe they would benefit from attending.

The Learning Series is part of the larger Durham Enhanced Technology and Virtual Learning Series, a two-part initiative supported through a provincial Inclusive Community Grant. It will include educational seminars, health and wellness classes, a general interest series, and community challenges.

The Virtual North Durham Seniors’ Fair is free to access, however, registration is required. Please register to attend on Eventbrite.
