When: May 26 until repairs are completed.
Where: Adelaide Avenue East in the area of Wilson Road North (Regional Road 35) in Oshawa.
Why: To repair a broken watermain.
Note: Adelaide Avenue East remains closed for scheduled construction work from Wilson Road North to Ritson Road (Regional Road 16).
Residents and businesses in the immediate area may experience a water service interruption or decrease in water pressure during the repair. This will avoid any sediment entering the hot water system.
Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and the work crews. Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19 the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service, according to the latest update of essential workplaces.
