Watermain break causes lane restrictions on Bayly Street West in Ajax

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on Bayly Street West (Regional Road 22) in the Town of Ajax due to a watermain break. One commercial property is affected.

When: Lane restrictions are expected to be in place until the repairs are complete. Please note that unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: The eastbound curb lane of Bayly Street West, approximately 50 metres west of Kitney Drive, in the Town of Ajax.

Why: To repair a broken watermain.

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and the work crews.
