Current requirements for attending appointments at Health Department facilities
The health of our clients and staff is the Health Department’s primary concern. Individuals who have appointments to attend one of our facilities should note the following:
- The Health Department has implemented all of the required safety precautions and is using appropriate PPE.
- Due to the pandemic, we are seeing fewer clients than normal due to the need to maintain physical distancing. Because of this we are triaging client needs and doing as much virtual care as possible.
- We are limiting the number of people permitted to attend appointments. Unless there are specific issues such as translation requirements or consent, only the client is allowed to attend the appointment.
- Walk-ins are not permitted - you must have an appointment.
- When you arrive for your appointment, you must wear a mask, otherwise, your appointment will not proceed.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
