Community Housing

Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI) Housing lets you pay about 30 per cent of your income for rent. There are RGI units at all community housing providers in Durham Region and some private landlords offer RGI through rent supplement agreements. Learn more about Rent-Geared-to-Income Housing.

It is important to note that there is a long wait list for housing assistance. Durham Access to Social Housing (DASH) runs the wait-list for RGI and modified units at community housing properties and some private landlords in Durham.
